> >Dextramphetamine and times to take?I have been diagnosed with add also. I was taking 40 mgs prozac, 40mgs Dexedrine (2X20) with Wellbutrin thrown in for sexual dysfunction. Prozac threw me off - developed apathy = pretty horrible - with no motivation - but the Dexedrine is good and the dosage is good - I would not take it after 1-1:30 in the afternoon unless you are a nightowl. But this is unique to each individual.
Watch the Prozac. It is not necessarily the best A/D for ADD w/Depression - but Wellbutrin is and I feel much better on it and off the prozac.
Good luck to you. Be patient but don't hesitate to call your doc if youthink you need to change your meds. One guy on an ADD chat said he thought we should try all the meds before we decided which one we thought was best - I told him i thought men only felt that way about women - but keep his thought in the back of your mind. There are other A/D's, other stimulants etc. Keep trying to find your magic potion.
Cause you're the only one who knkows what's working!!!!!
