ECT: Continuation therapy

HI:

I have had several shore trials of ECT and the effects
have only lasted short term.

I was wondering if anyone had Continuation ECTs that kept them from relapsing into their original depression? For how long? How often?

Also, if not continuation ECT, how about continuation
medication to prevent relapse?
