I am retaining water like crazy, my ankles have doubled in size. I don't know if it's the Doxepin or all the sweets I cannot resist eating since being on Doxepin. Anyway, anyone have any recommendations for the best diuretic? I'd prefer something natural, but all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks ya'll! CarolAnn

CarolAnn - Report this to your doc. Sinequan™ (doxepin) can slow the heart and you may not be getting a strong enough heartbeat to get all the blood back to your heart and it begins pooling i your legs. This is not a serious problem, yet, and may resolve, but ask your doc what he/she Thinks. Of course, I could be wrong, but a call to the doc does no harm. Better safe than sorry.
Also, for now, you can lie down with your feet slightly elevated, to reduce some of the edema (swelling). Some natural diuretics are tea and grapefruits.
Hope this helps - Cam
