read many of your posts and all of u seem to know your stuff....my story is familiar to yours. i'm in a desperate situation my current shrink just told to "treat my self". i'm suffering from depression and lately MAJOR PANIK and anxiety probably because THURSDAY we are (the family hubbs and 3 kids are going on a cruise 1st time). the pdoc wants me on zyprexa he is doing a study i don't want to take it. tried buspar made me crazier......i am topomax 100mg. the interesting thing was i was on 100mg of serzone 2nd week pms hit anxiety the dr upped the topomax and i started having visual trails so we associated it to serzone. my friend a neurologist said nope its the topo and he also said the topo is what is adding to my new anxiety. PANIK attacks in my own house.
the pdoc wants me to add klonopin at this pt i'm scared of everything.
what i did do was take serzone last nite and this am 50/50 decreased the topomax 100mg. i am calmer no panik attacks at home still anxious scared to leave the house can't imagine taking the trip on thurs. did take effexor last yr before and it was great for panik attacks(terrible for sex)
not sure anything will work fast enough and i'm also so scared to take anything now.
can i take it at nite with serzone? ( so i don't get panicky) i still have a 37.5XR. or just stick w/ serzone the 2 weeks i was on it (before he took me off of it why i agreed i don't know i seemed panik free
my father is a dr.(an oncologist) he is fuming at the pdoc that told me to go treat myself. my therapy doc hasn't called me back....but i might just cancel this trip. any suggestions

The klonopin should end the panic and work fast.
After you get back find another doc that you can trust. I would work to find someone who is really good and resist opinions from other docs who don't know your case. Have a good trip.

Klonopin worked for me. I kept one pill in my hand and nibbled on it and used about 3/4 of one pill. I was a person that gave up flying and now with klonopin I will fly anytime.
