effexor and weight gain

I HAVE TAKEN EFFEXOR FOR 10 MONTHS AND IT HELPED ME ALOT (ANXIETY, PANIC AND DEP.) I HAVE BEEN OFF FOR 1 MONTH AND I HAD NO WITH-DRAWLES. I DID GAIN 23 POUNDS ON THIS MED. I HAVE ALSO TAKEN ZOLOFT AND IT WAS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE WEIGHT GAIN. I GAINED 11 POUNDS ON IT. WISHING YOU TO BE WELL.
