www.mentalhealth.com is a great site, but it is run by a Canadian, so you wouldn't get many drugs available elsewhere. I think the addy,
www.biopsychiatry, is good, I just hope it is the right url.:-)

That's a small start....good luck..

There's one called the electronic medicines compendium. It's a UK site: http://emc.vhn.net/
However, I've been having a little difficulty with it lately. I think they may be upgrading/making some changes? But when it's working, it's pretty good.

There are 3 options when you register (patients/public - healthcare professionals - Pharm. Industry Emp.)

Fwiw - I registered under the healthcare professional option. I assummed that based experience at other sites; the patient info is usually pretty "lite" or "fluffy", so to speak. This option gives more detail on indications/dosage/contraindications/interactions/etc.

When it works. Never used to have any problems, but have tried it a couple times recently, when it didn't seem to be funcioning...

Another pretty good one - if I'm understanding what you're looking for, is www.rxlist.com .

Good luck. michael

Hi Nikki.

I'm not sure what kind of information you are looking for, but it might be worth taking a look at:

Good luck on your endeavor.

Hi Nikki

Im pleased to see that you are engaging in setting up a charity to help those with BPD.
There are a few sites that I think you might find useful although some I am sure you are already aware of:
-Dr Ivan's Depression Central-http://www.Psycom.net

http://www.mhsource.com-excellent site with excellent resource material for BPD

http://www.priory.com A British website that may be useful

http://www.mentalhealth.com-general,good stuff

A few you may not have come across include:
http://medicine.iupui.edu/flockhart
http://www.veritasmedicine.com
http://www.WebMD.com
http://www.psychologynet.org/dblinks/detailed/81.html -I think may be very good for BPD. May have been Angel Moods before with its main emphasis being BPD

I hope all these links work. If they dont I will check them and then repost them. I am coming to London in the new year, and staying in Tottenham and perhaps we could meet up. I know we have discussed this before when Dr-Bob was planning his trip to London and I could understand your reservations but in a public cafe I cannot see the harm. In the meantime I will try and find some more resources to help the development of your charity.

As a quid-pro-quo for this information I would like to ask you a question about a post you submitted a while back but would rather not do it here. May I therefore give you my email address:
andies3@lycos.co.uk
and it is at your discretion to contact me if you wish to.
With best wishes
PaulB
