Is there an accepted washout period from going to Wellbutrin to Nardil? I understand the other way around is typically two weeks. My doctor wants to wait this amount of time also; I just wonder if this is really necessary. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought Wellbutrin left your system in a couple of days. Going two weeks is tough.

I went off Welbutrin and right onto Nardil with no 'waiting period' at all. I was on 150 SR so my Neurologist had me take 75 mg of the regular (non-slow release) Welbutrin for 1 week then immediately start the Nardil the next day.
I started the Nardil at 15 mg and increased each week by 15 until I reached 60. I stayed at 60 for a few weeks, then had to cut back when I stopped sleeping. Its normal to have to cut back anyway, once the med reaches "full inhibition". I am now taking 30 mg, 15 2x day. I may be increasing to 45 now that I have been at the 30 for awhile. My body seems to be settled now.
By the way - Almost no side effects with the Nardil and wonderful results.

The literature indicates 2 weeks in either direction, but if you pressure your psydoc they may allow you to start a little bit sooner. I know some docs even combine wellbutrin with MAOIs. I recently started Nardil and I know the h*ll the wait can be! The good news is that I've experienced very few side-effects and I think I'm starting to see some possitive effects!

I took them concurrently with no ill effects.
I think there's mention of this in the TIPS section.Your mileage may vary.
