I have been on Lexapro for almost six weeks and I'm no better than on day one. My doctor wants me to give it eight weeks to see if it will work.
I'm more than sceptical. Please advise.

Lexapro is supposed to kick in faster than that, but I'm sure it's different for everyone. It worked pretty quickly for me - got rid of my depression, although has brought back some anxiety. Can I ask what you are taking it for? Also, at what dosage?

I will never give an AD more than 2 weeks if it does'nt give me significant improvement.
