I need some advice. Currently on Celexa and risperdal- gained 60 pounds. Tried to switch to lexapro, made me incredibly sick. Tried to switch to geodon, made me incredibly anxious and sick. What I really need is to get off the risperdal as that is what caused thye weight gain. Don't know what to do next- my pdoc wants me to try seroquel because he says it's better with the weight. I'm almost terrfied to try anything new again after the last two reactions though.I need something to work on the obsessions and residual anxiety that the celexa doesn't take care of. What about adding topamax to my current regime (the celexa and risperdal work really well together). I wish I knew why I couldn't tolerate the lexapro or the geodon. It was really scary- I felt like I had severe flu on lexapro and the geodon gave me suicidal ideations.

Sorry about your awful reaction to Lexapro. What exactly happened when you began the LEXAPRO?
WELL i wouldnt switch 2 medications at one time. I would hold on to the Celexa// Hows your exercise program going. Im HOPING Never to switch again as long as I live, Its hell on earth reacting to the wrong medication... Its synonomous with an illness GOOD Luck on what you decide, but dont switch 2 at one time
