I am feeling some really weird stuff. I am either feeling it coming off of the Paxil CR or new to Lexapro. I have a weird dizziness, vertigo or something. Even Meclizine isn't helping much. I stopped the Paxil CR due to the nonorgasmia, felt wonderful otherwise. Started Lexapro probaly two weeks ago. The doc I work for asked how I felt on it due to his seeing my "not being with it" persay actions. That is too scary for me working as a nurse in surgery etc. I feel like I know what I want to say and write, but it won't come out right. I am anxious, and nervous feeling. If I turn my head, oh gosh, if I blink my eyes...ooh, or even hold my head still and look side to side with moving eyes only...I am really scared. Any help out there?

It sounds like Paxil withdrawal, to me...Your symptoms are identical to what I experienced when I abruptly discontinued taking Paxil after only 8 days. I was following the directions of my internal medicine doctor when I abruptly discontinued the Paxil due to my blood pressure being substantially elevated.
Like yourself I also had the weird dizzy vertigo thing...along with brain zaps, vision problems, feeling off balanced when I stood up, feeling jittery and anxious. Taking Paxil was my first experience with an antidepressant, all of this occurred last year August. Well, there was the five days that I tried Celexa and stopped, with that I had a headache that subsided within 24 hours.
If you get a chance check out quitpaxil.org
I wish you the best of health.
God Bless
