I really should do a search .... Forgive me for my trying to "cut corners" here ....
Anyone prescribed Neurotin for sleep?
I (gingerly!) broached the subject of opiates for depression ... with my prescribing RN today -- asking why Tylenol with Codeine also erased *emotional* pain, and she responded something along the lines of how effective it was at "numbing, taking the edge off, etc., but that this was how people got into addiction."
Not a good subject for me, being already addicted -- to a person, anyhow.
She recommended Neurotin as an Rx that worked in a similar way, or that had a similar effect, without the problems of being habit-forming ....
I'm going to try it for sleep, at first ... then see.
That's all. Still in love with the crack addict, and still working my program, as best I can.
