Parnate
Week #1
11/10, Mon. - 10 mg. (taken in morning)
11/11 - 10mg
11/12 - 10mg
11/13 - 20 mg (taken at once in morning)
11/14 - 20 mg
11/15 - 20 mg - had an AWFUL HEADACHE - back of the head radiating forward. Had to take 2300 mg of Tylenol and put cold compress on my head. I think it could have to do with having had a large Starbucks coffee this morning, plus a double espresso shot and large coffee last night.
11/16 - 20 mg. Split up dose. 10 mg in morning; 10 in afternoon. Cut coffee to one small cup, trying to switch to decaf and tea. But, now I was tired all day. Had another headache, but not nearly as bad - 1000mg Tylenol to fix.Observations after first week:
Irritability from Nardil withdrawal is gone; but Parnate hasn't kicked in so I'm experiencing my lovely dysthymic symptoms and lack of motivation.
I've been waking up very early (4:30 am) like I did on Nardil. The difference was that on Nardil, I felt energetic when I first woke up, and then got tired later on in the day. Now I am always tired.
Carbo cravings way down.
No more Nardil anorgasmia.
Week #2
11/17, Mon. 20 mg. (10 in morning; 10 in afternoon). EXHAUSTED all day; couldn't concentrate. Trouble keeping my eyes open when driving. Cut down to 1 cup of coffee. headaches.
11/18 - 20 mg. (10 in morning; now 10 at night) - Exhausted all day again. 1 cup of coffee. headaches, headaches, headaches.

"I was tired all day" is why i went up on dosage so quick. now im just tired in evenings but have to take ambien to sleep. not feeling quite as good today but i think this is due to stopping klonopin more than the parnate.
good luck

Are you saying that the increase in parnate dosage gave you more energy?
