Due to one panic attack (on airplane) my Dr. added Lexapro to the Wellbutrin I have taken for 2 yrs. I didn't want to be a "lifer" on Lexapro due to just one panic attack so I quit after 18 pills. It has been about 3 weeks and withdrawal symptoms seem to be getting worse - severe headache and paresthesia(electric shocks). I finally got to the point that I couldn't deal with it and took 1/2 Lexapro this afternoon. We'll see. I also tried Paxil a few years ago and went to ER not knowing what the shocks were from. I'm just in that lucky 1% according to Glaxo-Smith. Like Paxil(prior to class action suit), Lexapro materials don't mention cold turkey or any withdrawal whatsoever.
Has anyone else experience this with Lexapro??
