Does anyone here think that taking multiple mood stabilzers might have a negative synergistic efect to some extent (too much overlap in action). I specifically take lamictal, neurontin and lithium and have thought about this a little. I'd be curious to hear others' thoughts.

Lamictal, Neurontin, and lithium are all different from each other. There is really no overlap in their pharmocology. It should make for a good combination for bipolar disorder.
