here's the list of rTMS test sites in the U.S.
*after inquiring about the study myself, I learned that a subject will be taken off their meds for the first part of the trial (for a total of 8-9 weeks, and then you are allowed to recommence certain drugs), so please understand that the study carries with it some risks.
The following link lists the sites. Click on "Clinical Trials"

there are sites in Washington, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina,Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Utah, and California.

Dont forget:
Canada offers this treatment privately! Theres currently two PRIVATE clinics. One clinic is in Vancouver, BC and the other is in Toronto, Ontario.. Please, to all Americans, feel free to bring your fine dollar to our fine country!

Hey SLS,
I experienced rTMS at the Vancouver clinic.. It did not provide me with any benefits.. But in terms of overall acceptability, I dont think many pdocs trust it, as they often qoute the contentious literature which supposedly supports it... I see a leading psychopharm and he always says that it still needs to be 'tweaked' before it will become a first or second line treatment...

Ihave communicated with pfinstegg many times and she has found rtms to be extreemly helpful, I beleive there is a version known as " neuro navigated rtms" which may be even more effective.
The info I read suggested that it was effective for quite a lot of us who would otherwise be labelled treatment resistant or in my case a neurotic and a difficult patient!Hope you find something positive in this scott
