Does anyone take Zyprexa at night for sleep? My doctor has been nudging me to take 2.5mg Zyprexa tried lowest dose Seroquel but gave that twilight sleep effect).
The idea is to get me off my 50mg of trazodone - just having a few breakthrough happy episodes. They feel nice, and that don't last. Always around the long daylight hours of summer. Usually am more on the depressed side.
Never on an AP before, and not, never have been, psychotic granted its an atypical AP, but worried about it...effect on dopamine, alomst certain weight gain and possibility of TD.

I would stay on Trazodone & ask your doc about taking Zyprexa only during hypomania. Zyprexa is said to be great for getting rapid cycling & severe mania under control, but I wouldn't want to take it full time if I didn't have to.Cheers,
Panda.
