i visited the lunesta homepage and saw that it's set to be released in the US at the end of the month. my pdoc has been hyping it up, and i'm anxious to try it. when i asked the pharmacist this week, though, about when it would be released, he had never even heard of it.
has lunesta been released in any other country? has anyone participated in a study of the drug? one thing i couldn't find-- is lunesta to be a controlled substance like ambien and other sleep meds?
it sounds too good to be true. i took ambien for two years until tolerance set in, and i've tried most benzo and all non-benzo sleep meds plus sedating ADs or APs for sleep. i hope lunesta is the end of the search.

I do too. I've heard that it has antidepressant effects also. I would love to know if anyone has tried it yet. Fondly, Phillipa
