Is it possible to mix both Wellbutrin and Cymbalta? If so how would one take it.
I currently take 90MG of Cymbalta in morning and notice I am getting tired. Not sure if I should break up the cymbalta or augment with Wellbutrin.
By the way 30MG worked for about 2 months, then 60MG for another 4 months, and I have been on 90MG now for about 2 weeks.

I don't understand how someone who couldn't tolerate even baby doses of AD's could suddenly not feel a thing from them. I went up to 60mg and didn't feel a thing. Fondly, Phillipa

I take 150mg Wellbutrin XL in the morning and 40mg Cymbalta in the evening. I am bipolar type II so I also take a mood stabilizer: 150mg Trileptal in the morning and 300mg in the evening.

I took mine in the morning at first, but I kept getting tired in the afternoon, so I switched.

The Wellbutrin has helped me a bit with my appetite (which had been too high) and motivation (which had been too low), but it is interfering just a bit with my sleep now. I'm handling it OK so far, but I slept way better on 60mg Cymbalta before the Wellbutrin. (I had to drop my Cymbalta dose 'cause my blood pressure went up a little.)

Minnie, thanks for the info - I raise dthe dose cause i felt the depression creeping back up. Did not want to take chances on it coming back.

I take 30mg Cymbalta and 150mg Wellbutrin XL, both in the morning, along with 100mg Provigil. I did try taking the Cymbalta at night, but between forgetting to take it and trouble sleeping when I did remember, I went back to taking it all in the morning, with breakfast.
No real problems with sleeping, anxiety, etc -- although I did have to drop to 30mg from 60mg to deal with the amotivation and lethargy.

It's possible! I take 120 mg of cymbalta and 300 mg of wellbutrin xl each morning along with a bit of provigil.

I noticed both of you add Provigil to Cymbalta and Wellbutrin? What does the Provigil do? My Dx is depression/anxiety

From what I understand, it's supposed to give you a steady flow of energy throughout the day. I think of it as an extra jumpstart in the morning. (I also have depression/anxiety.)
