I am doing well with this medication. I havent developed any tolerance to it, the same when i took it the first night.
I currently take 30mg.
it does help.
I used to have to lorazepam 2mg WITH it at one time when i had SEVERE insomnia. Staying awake 2 days is a trip....mental, buildings start to move and swerve.
Anyways, just someone post if you want.

Matt, Spriggy takes it but I think she's weaning off. And she left for Alabama for two weeks. It should let you sleep. Fondly, Phillipa

I just started taking 30mg of Restoril on Tuesday night (it's now Friday). The first night I got a great night's sleep and felt well-rested for the first time in forever (I'm on Parnate). However, the past 2 nights, I fell asleep quickly and then awakened completely after 3-4 hours -- it's kind of frustrating, but at least I'm getting a little bit of quality sleep. I'm taking what I can get at this point. :-) Take care, Lauren

Larry used to take it. Don't know if he still does. You might find some good info on it if you do a search and include his name.

i take it. can't recall the dose. i've learned to trick my body. i take ambien (am up to 20 mg) and then switch over to a restoril. my body responds perfectly. i've felt so well rested it's been wonderful!
