Adderall: is there a higher dose than 30mg

Posted by vivi on July 14, 2005, at 23:33:44

curious, I am prescribed adderall 30 mg twice a day but I usually only need one dose. That is enough to keep me on task at work. When I take 2 it keeps me up all night. is there a higher dose than 30 mg that I could take once a day? The weight loss problem should subside. my husband tells me I am lucky to not have to worry about my weight. I think I am too skinney! I am now 5'6 105lbs. I dropped 4 since that last post.

Is this extended release or regular? You only have to take what you need, so if 30 works just take 30. My dose used to be 30 XR twice a day, now I take 30 in the AM, and 10 mg. regular release in the afternoon. Gets me through most of the day, and no problems at night.

Some people take an Adderall in the morning and then a smaller ritalin or dexedrine in mid afternoon to tide them over.
I hav efound ritalin drugs less intrusive to sleep than amphetamine drugs.
