Wow, your pharmacy seems to give you extra pills quite often based on what I've seen you post on this subject.

Over the other side of the world from you i'm guessing. It helps to have a VERY GOOD relationship with your pharmasist-mine is a very religious (Muslim) and kind person who i consider a saint-God bless him.

I read an article in Good housekeeping about pharmacist who short change pills and keep the. My aunt went to church with that pharmacist in Kansas City that gave people basically placebo's instead of their cancer drugs (he owned the pharmacy and did it save money).

Anyway, after those two stories, I always count my pills. So far, they are always right except once when I got hydrocodone, they gave me 21 instead of 20. I got one extra- told the pharmacist and he said, " Oh well, keep it."

I got a vicodin on the house. ROFL

I do have a question about that...

My dad had his meds stolen (or lost) when he had his seizure. My mom bagged up all his pills and took them to the hospital (to show them what he takes). He's on about 15 different pills from diabetes meds, heart meds, hepatitis, pain meds, bp meds, etc..

Anyway, because they were stole/lost his doctor wouldn't call them in again for him- so when I was down there, I told my dad's pharmacist what happened and he supplied my dad with his medicine until the doctor would give a prescription.

I know he's done that type of thing before for my dad (when my dad couldn't get in touch with his doctor or whatever).

Is it legal for a pharmacist to do that?

Well I gave someone 55 celiprolol tablets today instead of 56 because I dropped one down the sink!

Sometimes I loose count and throw in a few extra tabs - not with scheduled drugs though LOL.
