I'm feeling pretty darn good, (thought I was manic, but I think I'm just not used to feeling "well"). My thyroid is ok now that I am on Synthroid.
The depression is gone (thank goodness), but I do have anxiety at times, which leads to some OCD symptoms (counting).
What is a good med for anxiety and OCD? I don't do well on traditional SSRIs. Would Cymbalta and/or Klonopin do well? Would a mood stabilizer be better?

I do the counting thing and am on luvox that does squat for depression although I don't count as much. And I take synthroid too if your needs for synthroid change and your TSH goes up that can produce severe anxiety. It happened to me. Love Phillipa

Would a mood stabilizer be better?Have you tried Anafranil (clomipramine), a TCA that largely acts as an SRI/SSRI? It used to be the "gold standard" for OCD until newer SSRIs have replaced it. It still stands out for some treatment-resistant OCD.
When I switched from Luvox to Cymbalta, my pure obsessional thoughts (garbage words) which are annoying but on the swatting at flies level increased. But that's just my experience -- everyone is different. I think it was just that Luvox is an excellent medication for OCD at a high dose. Cymbalta provides fairly good response for me for depression, but not as much for OCD.
