Hi, Im new to this but it looks like it could be helpful. Anyway I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 today and start lamictal tomorrow. Was wondering if anyone is on this medication and if it helps.

I tried Lamictal once, not for very long because i ran out and didn't have money for more. It did approve my mood almost immediately. When I was hospitalized, one of the nurses said she was bipolar and she claimed it saved her life. She said it helped anxiety attacks and manic episodes. I hope it works out well for you. I know there were no side effects when i took it.
