Has anyone heard of a connection between Wellbutrin and increased prolactin levels? My boobs have gone up a full size and I believe it is the Wellbutrin.
I realize this is contradictory to most things I have read that say Dopamine enhancing drugs decrease prolactin but the timing of this is right when I started Wellbutrin. I am also on Effexor (75 mg) and have decreased that recently to 37.5 to see if that made a difference... but they just keep getting bigger!!
Okay so I would be enjoying the hek out of this expect I have heard it can be linked to infertility and I want to start a family in the future.Any feedback would be appreciated> if anyone has had this happen as well let me know!

I don't think Wellbutring elevates prolactin, but Effexor almost certainly does. Hyperprolactinemia may be associated with delayed or absent menstruation and infertility, but that is temporary and would resolve upon resolution of the condition, which in the case of drug-induced hyperprolactinemia would entail cessation of the drug.
