HELP needed, what is going one here?

Posted by hansi555 on July 19, 2008, at 3:30:46

Hi all
After adding Lexapro (12,5 mg) to my Remeron dosage (52,5 mg) some 7 weeks ago, I am experiencing side effects again.
Had some serious SE 3 weeks ago when I tried to go from 10 to 15 mg, but then I went to 12,5 mg and I had 2 fine weeks ending with the last day being a bit over-enthusiastic, maybe too high level serotonin.
Then last Tuesday I had a minor set back with my mood for a couple of days as if the medicine did not work as the previous 2 weeks. And then folowed tiredness, less appetite, mouth dryness and above all nausea, this started 5 days ago.
First I suspected a change of brand of medicine but read that they were the exact same formula.
Now I suspect mild form of serotonin syndrom as I have at least some of the symptoms; nausea, hypermani, minor muscle cramps

Any ideas? Too high dosage?

It is possible that you are getting mild serotonin syndrome. I don't know that you should be combining those meds. I think you need to go back to the doctor, because you could be taking too much med for your body.
