Seroquel XR Vs Seroquel: dosages equal???

I was taking 300mg of regular seroquel, and switched to 300 of the xr version, and it knocked me on my butt for the whole next day. As if i were on a drug trip.

Is the XR version stronger? Is there a conversion?
