At what dose does nortriptyline become sedating enough to be a sleep aid?

My pdoc just gave me script for 50mg as sleep aid. I haven't taken it yet. I'll report in tomorrow.

So I took my first dose Thursday night, 50mg, and I was out like a light. During the night, I had such a real feeling that the house was literally being detached from the ground, all shaky. So I'm on two new meds, I blame it on them and go back to sleep. My son tells me the next morning that we had an earthquake at 5am! My 1st!

We can't blame it ALL on the meds :-)
Anyway, hope the Nortrip is workin for ya
