I'm considering asking my psychiatristvabout trying one of these. Does anyone have experience with any of the corticosteroids?

Poser for what they can be very dangerous. Cortisone shots killed my Mother when new on the market. I've taken just two weeks worth in past. Lots of side effects for some. I personally didn't have any? Phillipa

Yeah I started reading patient reviews on them and I pretty much changed my mind about them. They seem to cause more harm than good.

Seems even the steroid injections for bad back as my neuro spine surgeon suggested I try for the back pain damages bones. Phillipa

I've gotten a few in my spine and I won't be doing that again. They seem to be a temporary fix. You feel good for a month or so. Plus, I do think steroids eat away at your bones.

Sheilac since already have osteoporosis. I can't afford to have more bone damage. And I've read the same on multiple searches. No idea what to do then? I do need pain relief but first need to know if the osteoporosis or arthritis? I know from what I've read that surgery is out without loss of bladder & bowel control, and numbness. Any other options you know of doing PT faithfully for a long time now. What was your injection for? Thanks Phillipa
