To avert weight gain I don't want to up my current dose of 50mg quetiapine (brandname Seroquel).
Unfortunately, after a bad break up recently my anxiety came back in full force. I've read about Gaba (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) being useful against anxiety.
Took my first dose of 1000 mg today (2x 500 mg capsules by NOW, also including 2 mg vit. B6). Within 30 minutes sensed this overal relaxation throughout my body & mind.... It somehow reminds me of Niacine (vit B3), because I also feel a slight skin tingling - but the relaxation is more profound. My thoughts already feel more 'cosy'.
I'm wondering if this effect is due to the benzo I took 24 hours earlier? We'll see. I plan to progress without benzo's if the effect of Gaba remains.
Keep ya posted!
