Clearly, to me, Shame was expressing angnst over his/her experience with a manager and not disparaging any other manager who may be reading his expression on the Writing board.

we can't tip toe around everyone who might be called a "manager" now can we? and there is no "manager" society, no real solidarity between managers, no code that they might all subscribe to....
more of a general sort of label I think....but even if it wasn't, there was no specific reference that would offend any babbler IMHO.
