I don't think it's a joke.
I checked the FAQ and it says the picture is Slinky's.
I think it's to remember her.

I wish something was said by the photo that is was for Slinky because it looks like something a hacker would do as a warning of impending doom for the site, warning Dr. Bob.

I gotta agree, its a little freaky, an ID that it was Slinkys would be good if it is in fact Slinkys.

OK ya, I finally got to where it says it DUH. It does indeed say it was slinkys. Kinda makes me smile now.
But ya, I STILL think it would be GREAT if there was a place where they could put the name of the poster that contributed the pic underneath it. It could be FUN that way.
