If there are allowances made to be able to do a name change, by some, via babblemail or email and not post publically on this board to inform then it should be an option open to all posters.

It has been accepted - for now - in one situation. Contact the other deputies about the situation I'm referring.
Seeing as my recent situation involved a name change thing, I'm feeling sensitive I'm aware but also, I would like consistency in expectations for uh, fairness.

I think I read the situation you were referring to. Just post here. " I've changed my name to Mc Comfortable. No need to post old name. We all have to inform of a name change. Phillipa hope this helped.

I followed policy when I changed my name.
I had a complicated situation involving several difficulties with a communication problem by Dr. Bob. I won't review the details as they are spelled out on this board to be found. It's water already gone but I knew the policy and followed it when becoming who I post as now.
What I'm referring to regarding this post is not about MY change of name but about another who is not following policy as it is a policy we ALL are to follow.
