Posted by rjlockhart37 on December 5, 2012, at 21:13:15

this was not in the contract with doctor bob's joining test...he said these would be published in acedemic journals...there all on google...type in something that relates or tags with posts here...people on search enjines can read all what we posted...type in my name rjlockhart in google will list 100s maybe a 1000 of posts i've posted since 2004, exepct i've changed the numbers on the end of the posting name... but to make it worse...take a look at the bottem of this screen...two things "tweet, or post to facebook" do you get it? this is like a ultra public website, meaning people know who I am because the idiot self when I posted my name in 2005 it shows up when you type my name in google..as rjlockhart...i mean the whole web can read what we post. And Dr-Bob no tell what he's doing maybe on a beach, relaxing while all are messages are going on to google. Well you know, look on the bright side...are stories are all posted...so people can read of our lives, exept by only posting name.

might as well make this a Dr. Bob talk show on the web...tune in 24/7

cheers....

I'd say it is common sense for any website where you can enter and look at content without a password, but it's **always** been in the FAQ. Explicitly:

"You may want to think twice about what you post. It's easy to feel safe online and therefore to be open about yourself. That's one of the advantages of online message boards, but don't forget:

****What you post is public, as public as if you put it up on an old-fashioned bulletin board in a supermarket. Maybe even more so, since there aren't supermarket bulletin board search engines.

Under certain circumstances, being linked to a post could jeopardize your job or lead to your criminal prosecution. To repeat, what you say could be used against you.****

The only way to be completely safe from these risks is to abstain from this activity."

True, but maybe don't worry about it so much? Anyone who relied too much - or at all - on old message board posts to actually decide whether or not to hire someone, or whatever, may be someone you don't want to work for anyway....

>>but to make it worse...take a look at the bottem of this screen...two things "tweet, or post to facebook" do you get it?

Nope. You have your buttons turned off, making it far less convenient for others to create a link.

>>this is like a ultra public website, meaning people know who I am because the idiot self when I posted my name in 2005 it shows up when you type my name in google..as rjlockhart...i mean the whole web can read what we post.

I don't think you are an idiot. At all.

>>And Dr-Bob no tell what he's doing maybe on a beach, relaxing while all are messages are going on to google.

Hmmm, how are those two things connected, rj? Google is a tool. People can find what they want with it, but our messages aren't really going anywhere....

>>Well you know, look on the bright side...are stories are all posted...so people can read of our lives, exept by only posting name.

Yeah, that's kinda what Dr. Bob thinks will bring new posters and be helpful to others to read. I'm so thankful I could find posts by people who felt exactly like I did - using Google - back in 2004. This site being accessible certainly helped save me from a lot of extra suffering, brought me friends, and more.

How did you find Babble the very first time?

Take care, rj. It's probably not worth the energy to focus on hating because you know others who don't treat people right (I'll bet you don't want to be like them) and worrying about what some people might do with PB posts some day.

I know it's hard - I am a worrier, too. BTW, I read all your posts and I care. Just don't know what to say sometimes. -- 10der

thanks....its just if I ever got a advanced job...my name is on google...ill have to find it and get it removed...i sure hope dr-bob will not be cold and not listen to me about taking it down. If I started to work with a company...or be an actor...they could find me vary easy because my name is on babble from 2005, its on the 2nd page of google search when you type my full name in.

I actually found babble in 2003, I rerember my 1st post about Adderall and taking testosterone supplements with it...i was afraid something bad would happen...its silly, but i was not under rjlockhart...i had 2 posting names before it...then I got rjlockhart in 2004. That's how people know me now, for about 8 years now. The stuff in the past is not valid in some sections, i just yakked on about bullcrap...i redid my format on how I post from about 2010 till now. In the past i got in arguements because my insight was limited, i would take things the wrong way. So i try to be civil now in the posts, well sometimes if im not raging mad.

thanks...i really appricate the kindness you have shown me over the years.
