The reports are mixed on lecithin for manic depression. There are have been isolated reports of it causing mania. The Digital Naturopath says it's good for stabilizing mood, but can act as a mood depressant. I guess this is because the ratios of inositol and choline vary by brand. Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine which modulates dopamine, I may be wrong. Would a regimen of supplements that increase acetylcholine in the brain counter mania, e.g., acetyl l-carnitine, choline, huperzine-A
