Can anyone list supplements or dietary factors that might theoretically or evidentially help decrease dopamine levels if they're in excess, or go to the root cause of what's causing the dopamine excess?
Also on mind relative to this post:
-Acetylcholine precursors (but can they be too depressing?)
-Omega 3's
-vitamin B3
-avoidance of exorphins, e.g., gluten, casein
-Dopamine excess theory of schizophrenia
-Dopamine -> Norepinephrine -> Noradrenaline ... mania?

I have all the info you need on this .I have been doing research on this for several years.It is the dopamine that is being released from your brain cells that matters.There is a malfunction in your calcium homeostasis due to a defective enzyme or damage to dopamine producing cells by drugs like cocaine or speed ie ritlian.Large dose magnesium and fish oil can restore calcium homeostasis like lithium but with no side effects.Would like to talk to you more on this and show you the research .Cell kindling is seen in manic depression,ocd,panic diaorder and maybe depression.This is when a cell is stimulated and it just fires and fires without stoping.It may fire on it,s own.if you stop this kindling ,you stop the mental illness.
