Preventing catecholamine depletion

Posted by linkadge on February 6, 2007, at 14:35:23

I just feel wiped after stressfull events. There seems to be no buffer on catecholamine release.

Does anyone know of any supplements that can prevent catecholamine depletion, stress induced, or otherwise?

Isn't that what the adaptogens are meant to accomplish, e.g. Siberian ginseng?

fish oil seems to work for me...but i'm one of those hypersensitive to its effects...1 gram a day can give me weird dreams...

st john's wort apparently boosts dopamine and possibly serotonin too...

i don't know much about siberian ginseng...i think i read korean ginseng works by mimicking corticosteroids, which i figured might not be good...
