I was hoping to get some advice too on vitamins for anxiety. Just some basic stuff would be great.

I am interested in knowing what type of fillers/binders to avoid too.

I hope he sees this post.

regards

Whilst you wait for Larry to reply I can suggest a few items >

GABA
Inositol
Niacinamide
Taurine
Magnesium Citrate

A combination of those is reasonably calming.

Glycine is also calming and helpful for aborting panic attacks, but shouldn't really be taken with Taurine as they compete with each other.

What has worked the best for me is Theanine, but I do well with Klonopin.

Certain types of anxiety need certain supplements.

You might respond to Glutamate antagonists like Magnesium, Zinc and Taurine. Or The inverse agonist Lysine. Especially if the anxiety is diet triggered.

From here it gets a little trickier:

If you are sensitive to 5HTP you might do better with Lithium Orotate or Asparate.

High and Low NE are reported to cause anxiety as well as dopamine. You can raise both by supplementing with Tyrosine or DL_phenyalinine.
Blueberries are supposed to directly raise dopamine as is Mucuna Pruriens. Tyramine is reported to raise NE as is Yohimbine.

And it's very possible that high Omega-3 EPA fish oil might fix everything. It's definitely supposed to raise Dopamine.

Tried taurine (not good for me) but maybe dose was too high. Tried 5htp, didnt like that either (headache and felt wierd)
I will try the mag. and zinc, thanks ConRon

Ron, I keep hitting my capacity limit before I get to your post. It'll be first, next time I get back on here. Sorry for the long wait.
