Apparently, in addition to being a COMT inhibitor, green tea also inhibits the dopamine transporter.

I wonder what the half-life of these polyphenols are--how frequently would one have to drink tea during the day to keep it up? Probably difficult to find the answer--but it would certainly be interesting to find out from Parkinson's patients whether green tea was useful.

Yeah, I know that COMT inhibitors are used in Parkinsons. DAT inhibitors like ritaline and amphetamine are used but more rarely.
