has anyone had these covered by insurance?
has anyone tried these and liked them?
im Seriously considering getting one now. and the cheapest one i found that i liked was $181 which is still more than i can afford right now.
i called my insurance and she didn't find that they were being covered. but needed a "procedure code" to be for sure.b2c.

Yep, I have two light boxes, both covered by ins. One is a big light box and the other is a smaller one I can use when I travel. As far as I know you have to get a clinical diagnosis of either delayed-sleep-phase syndrome or SADD. Of course some insurance companies may deny coverage, but the company I had at the time was fine with it. See your doc first and see if they can dx you with either of the above, then when you order the lightbox, ask if they can provide you with a HCPX code. In my case, my sleep doctor loaned me one first as a trial. At times if has worked for me, at times it hasn't. Good luck. GW
