Hi,
I was taking Passion Flower Extract, 250mg 2x per day. After about a week, I got a bad headache, and my eyes became sensitive to light (no pupil dilation, however). I wasn't taking anything else at the time.
How anyone ever heard of photophobia induced by Passion Flower?
If Passion Flower has this effect, I feel bad about it, because I think it was really helping me to manage anxiety.
I also had a lot of photophobia but with big-time pupil-dilation when I tried Tryptophan (Ajinomoto tryptopure) last year. I was only taking Tryptophan for 10 days - the first five at about 500mg per day, the last few days at 2g per day before my pupils became dilated. I kinda feel like anything that potentially influences my neurotransmitters is going to cause pupil dilation/light sensitivity!
This is the end of the thread.
