I don't know where you're getting your EPA data from, but my sources would indicate that 10 lbs/month salmon would not exceed 1 gram EPA/day, on average.

The numbers below are from USDA tables, giving grams of EPA based on 100 grams of fish. In 10 lbs. of fish, you have 45.4 100 gram portions of fish. With 30 days per month, just multiply the numbers below by 1.5 to get your average intake per day (45 portions divided by 30 days times mass per portion).

I used the same data but my math may have been wrong. I look at the cost of fish oil and buy salmon in stead. I'm thinking flax seeds may be the way to go assuming my body is able to convert ALA to EPA. I was just reading the ratio omega 3 to omega 6,9 is more important the the over all intake of EPA's
