I just bought a bottle of Skullcap capsules.
Each capsule contains 400mg of pure powdered Skullcap.
Does anyone know how many I can take before bed for insomnia? Also, has anyone here tried the herbal supplement called Relora?
Its supposed to help you relax, but without sedating.
Its also supposed to lower cortisol and raise DHEA.

Skullcap can be great if taken in tincture form (extracted into alcohol), but taking whole herb powdered and crushed into capsules would require about a bottle of them to be taken every night. Look for an extract made by GAIA Herbs which is called "Skullcap; St. John's Wort Formula" or "Skullcap; Valerian Formula".
Relora is very mildly relaxing, but nothing to write home about. Just as it says on the label for most bottles of the stuff, it seems to help most if you're on a low-carb diet.
